Running OS Windows 10 IOT
The Operating System would lock up and "Blue Screen" when running TouchPoint 2016 or above. 2015 and below was absolutely fine.
The error code it displayed was "REFERENCE_BY_POINTER".
It was discovered that this unit was trying to load parallel port drivers and was proceeding to error due to the fact there was no parallel port on the main board.
Solutions:
1. Registry setting to tell the till to ignore the parallel port (String Value)
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ICRTouch\TouchPoint] - IgnoreLPT = true
2. Delete IB10E32.dll from the ICRTouch folder which stops parallel ibutton access
