I have a customer who is having an issue with split checks..
Its not that the tills are not splitting correctly, they work perfectly. 
Its the fact that something will inevitably get left on the table with nobody owning up to having had the fruit salad 
(for example among other issues) and a lot of difficulty in reviewing split tables to try and locate the user error.
Now there are simple steps i have advised him to take to avoid this problem, but one thing that would greatly improve his ability to handle these awkward situations is to be able to review how and who split the check.
He is currently using TP2016 but at the moment he is still using the older split (non skinned) version of the function. So if he splits a Check multiple times (sometimes up to 20 times 
), all that appears in the Bill Store is the final total which is usually €0.00, by the time everything is split off. So printing is a problem.
I realize that if he goes to recall sales that he can view each individual part of the check being cashed off, but the trouble with that is the till is usually very busy and in between splitting off the various parts - other sales are also made - even other clerks splitting off the same table.
Anyway enough rambling...
I have showed him the new skinned version of split checks, and this would enable him to have a table pre-split or even pre-load each seat with what they are having (stop me if im wrong there). He likes it, but it just needs tweaking when it comes to cashing off each split.
When each seat is cashed off, it returns to the split screen, where you can press the printer icon on the split you just cashed off and get a detailed receipt - Lovely!
But the last split to be cashed off, doesn't return to the split screen, and automatically prints a €0.00 total receipt.
The only way to get a receipt for the last split is open recall sales, select the 2nd last sale, and open and print.
Is it possible to have it either automatically print each seat as its cashed off, or have it returning to the split screen so it can be printed from there?
If not..
Is it possible to be able to view a finalized check that had been split, and print it all in one go. Sort of like the bill store works, but this "SPLIT STORE" could show you the details of a split check?
