Morning all,
I've just been setting up one of the Hisense windows 10 Tablets from YCR with a Bixolon Bluetooth printer SPP-R310.
When you pair with the printer it creates 2 virtual COM ports which I've assigned to COM5 and COM6.
On touchpoint the I/O parameters are on COM5 with 115200, 8,1, none.
So if you power on the printer then start touchpoint it all works great,
but...
if you start touchpoint before powering on the printer, or power off the printer while touchpoint is running it won't recognise or send to to the printer until you re-start touchpoint. Same thing also if you press the power button on the front of the tablet dock (seems to make the tablet sleep), touchpoint needs to be re-started to connect back to the printer.
Anyone got an idea why this is or had any experience with the bluetooth virtual COM ports?
Other than this small issue it's a perfect mobile solution.
Any thoughts appreciated!
