Hi All,
Been testing ICRTouch Point in Linux using Wine (WINE is not Emulator), the Demo version of the software is virtually stable (via Wine) even running through some basic basic stress tests.
Several years ago, while ICRTouch Point was not officially supported using the Wine Libraries, referring to some old release note, the software was slightly modified to allow for compatibility.
For me, there are several advantages for using Linux from security, maintenance and even logistic/delivery reasons.
My question is related to licencing, up until a few years ago you delivered sentinel serial based dongles but from reviewing this forum this has now been phased out.
The only issue with the USB dongles they would not be recognised by the WINE libraries.
My question is to ask is if you offer any kind of software-based licensing solution may be based on the systems information.
Any information would be helpful.
Thanks.
John
